AnyCrawler provides a web content retrieval and search API for AI agents and developers. The service is designed to help customers access publicly available web content, render pages in a browser environment, run search workflows, capture screenshots, review request logs, and manage API access and credits from one product surface. These terms explain the conditions under which you may use that service and the responsibilities that stay with you when you point the product at third-party websites or process resulting data.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing the website, creating an account, using the console, calling the API, or otherwise using AnyCrawler, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any additional policies or order terms that apply to your use. If you are using the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and the words "you" and "your" refer to that organization as well as the individuals acting on its behalf.
2. What the service does
AnyCrawler is designed to help technical users and AI systems access web content with a more consistent interface. Depending on your plan and product configuration, the service may offer fetch and render methods, cache-aware responses, markdown-oriented output, screenshots, search workflows, usage reporting, request history, and billing controls. We may change, add, limit, or remove features over time as the product evolves.
The service is intended for lawful access to publicly available content or content that you are otherwise expressly authorized to access. AnyCrawler is not offered as a tool for stealing credentials, bypassing paywalls, taking over user sessions, avoiding payment obligations, or obtaining access to private systems or protected data without authorization.
3. Accounts, workspaces, and API keys
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, API keys, and workspace access. You must use reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access, rotate keys when appropriate, and promptly notify us if you believe your account, keys, or environment have been compromised. Activity performed through your workspace is treated as your activity unless you can show otherwise.
4. Acceptable use and compliance
You may use AnyCrawler only in compliance with applicable law, these terms, and any separate written agreement that governs your account. You may not use the service to break the law, interfere with the security or availability of the service, evade access restrictions unlawfully, violate privacy or publicity rights, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, perform credential abuse, run deceptive activity, or process data in ways that your own legal basis does not permit.
Because AnyCrawler is a tool for accessing third-party websites and content, you remain responsible for the targets you choose, the instructions you send, the output you store or redistribute, and the way those outputs are used in your business or AI systems. You are also responsible for evaluating site-specific terms, robots behavior, contractual restrictions, privacy obligations, export controls, and sector-specific regulation that may apply to your workflow.
Without limiting the foregoing, you may not use AnyCrawler to: access or attempt to access data without authorization; steal, replay, or misuse login credentials, cookies, tokens, or session data; bypass paywalls or access controls; solve or route around CAPTCHAs or similar anti-abuse controls through AnyCrawler; impersonate users, devices, or networks in a deceptive manner; or infringe or help others infringe website terms, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or similar rights. If a target website requires consent, payment, an account, or separate contractual permission, you are responsible for obtaining that permission before using the service against that target.
5. Customer content and outputs
You retain responsibility for the prompts, payloads, URLs, account-level settings, and other content you submit to the service, as well as the outputs returned to you. We do not claim ownership of third-party web content merely because the service processes it at your request. However, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, cache, process, and display your submitted content and resulting outputs for the purpose of operating, securing, and improving the service.
We may remove or restrict access to content, requests, or workspaces that present legal, contractual, operational, or security risk. We are not required to monitor every request, but we may review or act on specific usage when we believe action is necessary to protect the service, other users, third parties, or ourselves.
6. Billing, credits, and plan limits
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing, credit rules, and commercial terms shown in the product or otherwise agreed in writing at the time of purchase. Current public pricing is usage-oriented and may distinguish between render requests, fetch requests, cache hits, and screenshot operations. We may also apply rate limits, request-per-minute limits, browser concurrency limits, storage limits, or other operational caps by plan.
If you exceed plan allowances, fail to pay amounts due, trigger unusual risk signals, or create infrastructure strain that threatens the service, we may throttle, suspend, require plan changes, or restrict specific features until the issue is resolved. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, refunds are handled under our Refund Policy except where a different written agreement applies.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By completing a purchase, you agree to the refund policy, pricing, and renewal terms presented at checkout and on this website.
7. Service availability and product changes
We work to keep AnyCrawler available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, perfect output accuracy, or permanent availability of every endpoint or capability. Web infrastructure changes, target-site defenses, browser behavior, and third-party dependencies can all affect results. We may perform maintenance, ship new versions, change limits, deprecate endpoints, or revise product packaging at any time.
8. Intellectual property
We own the AnyCrawler service, software, branding, documentation, and related materials, except for third-party materials and the content that customers or end users lawfully provide. These terms do not give you ownership of our software or trademarks. Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal business purposes or other lawful uses of the product.
9. Third-party sites, services, and content
The value of AnyCrawler depends on interacting with websites, documents, and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party site availability, changes in markup, robots restrictions, search results quality, account lockouts, anti-bot measures, or legal terms imposed by those third parties. If your workflow depends on a particular website or data source remaining accessible, you assume that dependency risk.
We do not represent that every website may lawfully or contractually be crawled, rendered, copied, cached, searched, or transformed for your use case. The fact that a page is technically reachable does not mean your intended use is permitted. You are responsible for assessing whether the content is public, whether your access is authorized, and whether your use complies with the target site's terms and applicable law.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnyCrawler is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for every workflow. Outputs may vary based on target-site changes, caching behavior, browser rendering differences, or incomplete source data.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnyCrawler and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenues, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to the service, even if we were advised those damages were possible. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe your use violates these terms, creates legal exposure, threatens the security or stability of the platform, or fails to satisfy payment obligations. We may also discontinue the service or a feature with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will survive.
We may also suspend or remove requests, outputs, integrations, or accounts when we reasonably believe they involve unauthorized data access, infringement, fraud, or abusive attempts to use the service as a circumvention tool. We are not required to provide advance notice where doing so could increase legal, security, or operational risk.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the product, the business, and the applicable legal environment change. When we do, we will update the published date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@anycrawler.com. If you are contacting us about an account, workspace, invoice, or restriction, include enough context for us to identify the relevant record and respond efficiently.
